Here are the main takeaways from the session: 

  • Access is a major challenge, from provider shortages to friction in the patient experience. Removing barriers and simplifying the patient journey is critical.  
  • Data connectivity and having a comprehensive view of the patient journey remains an obstacle. Building out CRM and marketing technology is needed to track patients end-to-end.  
  • Focusing on community health initiatives and the social determinants of health can help drive patient engagement and acquisition, especially for underserved populations.
